Hold on to your hat! (and your lunch.)
I visited Dr. Bill on Friday and Dianne Smiles (yes, that's her real name - it suits her too!) removed the 17 stitches in my hand, applied steri-strips, and Dr. Bill put on the cast, which will remain on for 4 weeks.
Interesting Note: it's hard to believe that that awful gash is less painful than my thumb was before the surgery.

Blllllaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
There goes my lunch! I am sure Glad that I never became a doctor!
THANK you for documenting the entire thing for me to see :)
That is a cool picture! I'm glad that the surgery made your thumb feel better...even if you do bear a small resemblance to Frankenstein! :) Having been stitched up myself one too many times, I can relate. I bet it felt SO good to get those dumb stitches out.
love, Sara
Well, My Annie Bannie Bee - it sure looks pretty ghastly - I am wondering how it is feeling? I look and watch in fear and trepidation since I have the same condition and it's getting worse. Sorry we didn't get to speak to you yet again today - Amy was wanting to have a chat before flying back to NZ which she has now done. We just didn't get a chance to call again. Went to a Koala sanctuary on way to Airport. Love you heaps - take care and lots of love, always your sister - Jintybu
